This page provides our policies and procedures for collecting, using and disclosing your information and outlines the security measures we’ve put in place to protect the information that you store using Reviewshake's services, including the services made available through this web site, and any other software or services offered by Reviewshake in connection with such services (the “Services”). By using these Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information described in this Privacy Policy.

What information does Reviewshake collect and store?

Personal Information

When expressing an interest in obtaining additional information about the Services or registering to use the Services, Reviewshake requires you to provide your personal contact information, such as your name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (these are referred to below as your “Personal Contact Information”). When purchasing the Services, Reviewshake also requires you to provide financial and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number, and the number of employees within the organization that will be using the Services (“Billing Information”).

Adding your review sources

Adding your review sources

The first step to getting started with Reviewshake is setting up your review sources - this is how we both sync your reviews into Reviewshake, as well as generate new reviews for your business.

You will be asked to set these up when you first create your account. If you skipped this step, you can get back to this page by clicking Reviews and then Review Sources in your left-hand menu. Next, search for or find the review site you want to add and click Add to get started.

We'll use Google as an example to show you how this is done.

You'll notice that Google gives you two options:

Grant access
Public access

The Grant access method is our recommended approach and requires you to have access to the Google My Business listing for the given business. Clicking Sign in with Google will ask you to give us permission to manage your location, and you will then be taken back to Reviewshake and see your reviews streaming in momentarily.

If you don't have access to the location, you can always go with the Public access method. Here we just need you to provide the search query which shows the business reviews in Google for us to sync those.

Campaigns can be setup to run a drip campaign with review invitations to your customers, by email and/or SMS. Once a campaign is setup, you simply add customers to it from one of several places:

To create a Campaign, visit Invitations from the menu and then select Campaigns. The campaign is what sends out the review invitation with your given criteria. Click New Campaign to start setting this up.

These are the steps:

Pricing

Our aim is to provide as transparent pricing as possible, so that you know both how our pricing works and how much you would expect to pay even before you sign up. Refer to our Pricing page for specific details about our packages.

You can try any of our plans for free without a credit card for 2 weeks before making a decision. To avoid abuse, we have the following limitations during the trial period:

Review profiles: Unlimited
Email invitations: 100
SMS invitations: 0
Locations: Unlimited

After your trial period, you will be asked to select a package to continue beyond the first two weeks. Should you opt for the Free package, any review sources, locations and competitors above the allowance will be automatically removed.

Our pricing works on a month-to-month basis, we don't have any setup fees and you can cancel at any time. Should you wish to commit for a longer time period, we offer 20% off for yearly payments.

Overage pricing

You have the option to buy more credits once you reach the limit for review invitations on your account. Check your usage under Configurations -> Billing -> Usage to avoid issues sending your invitations.

Additional email review invitations are charged at $3 per thousand above your limit. We can offer bulk

Setting up your agency white label

It's easy to setup your Reviewshake agency portal under your own brand.

Custom domain

You can run Reviewshake on your own domain (eg. myreviews.com) or subdomain (eg. reviews.myreviews.com), which ensures that you own the relationship with your end-clients. By setting up your custom domain, all publically visible URLs are branded to your company, such as:

Reviews dashboard
Auto-generated review URLs in your invitation emails
Widget URLs
API endpoints

Setup your custom domain by visiting Configurations -> General Settings and click the Domain tab to get started. The process includes three steps:

Setting your domain (or subdomain) CNAME record
Approving our ability to generate a SSL certificate on your behalf, to secure your portal
Activating the domain

Client emails

In addition to setting up your custom domain, you can also ensure that all emails that are sent to your clients are sent from your own agency email address. This is as simple as visiting Configurations -> Agency -> Email Setup and following the two steps:

Selecting the email address you wish to email your customers from
Setting up 3 CNAME records which give us permission to send emails on your behalf
