How do Facebook permissions work?
When you add a Facebook review source using the Grant Access method or enable social sharing to Facebook, we require permission to manage specific page(s) within your Facebook account.
When you click the Continue with Facebook button, you’ll be redirected to Facebook, where you’ll be asked to choose which page(s) you want to grant us access to. You can either:
- Grant access to All Pages, or
Select the specific page you want us to manage.
Common Issues
1. Managing Multiple Clients
If you manage Facebook pages for multiple clients using a single Facebook account, we recommend selecting All Pages during the authorization step.
This is because access is granted through a single Facebook app. If you first authorize access to Page X for one client, and later authorize Page Y for another, access to Page X may be revoked.
2. Pages Not Appearing in Reviewshake
If not all your pages are showing up in Reviewshake, follow these steps:
- Go to your Facebook profile and click the dropdown in the top-right corner.
- Select Settings & Privacy, then Settings.
- From the left sidebar, click Business Integrations.
- Locate and remove the Online Reviews integration.
- Return to your Reviewshake dashboard and re-authorize access.
Your pages should now appear correctly.
